ALLERGIES AND BLACK MOLD

If you or your family suffer from allergies there are several things you can do to minimize exposure to allergen causing building products.

Here are a few:

Reduce the amount of or eliminate the use of carpet. Carpet can hold allergen causing products. The down side is your options of a hardwood and/or tile floor are usually much more expensive than carpet.

Upgrade your central air-conditioning/heating filter system. At a minimum use a pleated filter over a standard fiberglass filter. Electronic air cleaners and U.V. air purifiers will greatly reduce the amount of allergens.
